Group structure

The idea with FirstFarms arose at the beginning of 2005, where eigth investors joined forces to purchase an agricultural company in Slovakia.

In December 2006, FirstFarms A/S was listed on the stock exchange where the company gained approx. 2,600 new shareholders. Since the listing, the company has invested large resources in new and existing activities in Slovakia, built up two farms in Eastern- and Western Romania respectively, acquired a well-runned pigfarm in Hungary, a plant and pig production in both Czech Republic and Slovakia and latest a company in Northwest Romania. 

FirstFarms A/S has its head office in Denmark, but the operation takes place in the subsidiaries in Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Czech Republic.
